Outcome 3A: Design resources or tools that facilitate access to information.
In LIS 721.01 Library Materials for Children, our final project tasked us to create a resource that examined children’s literature. I created a website where I compiled and shared resources, book lists, and storytime plans that focused on social justice themes. I know that it can be overwhelming for educators and librarians to look for materials, so I wanted my website to serve as a living, growing professional resource where materials I have found to be particularly effective are both accessible and available.
